JUMPSTART AND THE TEXAS LONGHORNS ARE A WINNING TEAM For the second time this year JUMPSTART, the Austin, TX variety dance band, performed for pregame festivities at DKR Memorial Stadium in Austin, TX. The Texas Longhorn football team has made a national statement in top rankings by continuous deliverance of excellence on the field. Likewise, JUMPSTART continues to perform at exceptional levels leaving their crowds full of exuberance and excitement from the huge variations of genres of music they can perform. The most recent crowd at the End Zone Club – located on the south end zone of DKR Memorial Stadium, witnessed dance song after dance song of familiar (and some, not so familiar) hits. Songs that ranged from the 1930’s to yesterday. JUMPSTART’s performance genres include country, disco, Motown, rock, Tejano/Latin, funk, contemporary and jazz. Their musical dance styles vary from cha-cha to salsa to waltz and all points in between. The University of Texas and JUMPSTART are a formidable combination. The band is gaining the reputation as the “unofficial dance band of the University of Texas!” Check out the array of music as soon as you can or better yet, have them perform for your next event.
