If you want people to dance at your wedding, hire JUMPSTART. As someone who works in the wedding industry, I knew I wanted a cover band who could play to the crowd and keep the energy high all night. Jumpstart did not disappoint! We are both native Austinites, so wanted a tried-and-true group of Austin musicians - Jumpstart has been playing parties for over twenty years! It’s important to be able to trust your bandleader, and we knew with Mike’s experience, we were in good hands. They also have an extensive playlist, which they allowed us to mold to our tastes, and had a sound technician to play DJ music between sets so that the music was seamless and sounded professional all night. When we went on to the dance floor for our first dance all I could think was “Wow! They sound amazing!” They played a great variety of songs that had EVERYONE dancing – literally from my two year old cousin to my grandparents and everything in between. I would recommend Jumpstart to any couples who are looking for a rock solid wedding band for their big day. Austin is chock full of musicians – so you can really pay as much as you want for a band here – but we found that the value we got with Jumpstart was equal to other bands who charge almost twice as much and don’t have as many musicians. Your band, Jumpstart, is THE BEST band I've ever heard perform for a wedding!  I'm from  California and I get invited to weddings all the time.  In fact, I used to work as a Wedding Planner.  Out of all the bands I have dealt with over the years, yours [Jumpstart] is by far the best.  The versatility, variety, the overall sound was just excellent!  The jazz set, the beautiful ballads, and the great dance music.  I wish we could afford to get you all to perform in California.  You would be a huge hit!
