“No Place but Texas”

JUMPSTART, a true variety dance band that hails from the Texas’ capital city – Austin, has been asked to once again provide the high energy inspirational music they are known for to fuel the 80,000 plus fans prior to the University of Texas Longhorns home game. 

The game is set between the 2005 national champion Texas Longhorns and an old Southwest Conference rival – the Texas Christian University (TCU) Horned Frogs – September 9 at DKR Memorial Stadium, Austin, Texas.  JUMPSTART was invited to perform 3 hours before kickoff to help “lead the team to another victory”. 

The University of Texas Longhorn Foundation is hosting the kickoff party at the south end zone of the stadium in the appropriately named “End Zone Club”.  According to a Longhorn Foundation spokesman, JUMPSTART will “start their blitz” approximately at 3:00 p.m. and continue evoking longhorn spirit up to kick-off with a variety mix of upbeat, up-lifting, and crowd thrilling dance music!  Bevo will be there!  The Longhorn Cheerleaders will be there, a host of Longhorn dignitaries will be there, and so will JUMPSTART!

So, if you can come by a ticket to the Texas vs. TCU game, come and get revved up at the End Zone Club with JUMPSTART.
