2007 SUMMER IN THE PARK

JUMPSTART, an Austin Texas musical variety band, is proud to announce that they will be performing for the City of San Marcos’ Summer in the Park series.  JUMPSTART’s performance is scheduled for July 19.  This is a special concert to celebrate the 10^th anniversary of the San Marcos Activity Center.  The celebration is planned to begin that evening at 7:00 p.m. and run until 10:00 p.m.

San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) personnel recommend that you “bring your dancing shoes!”  This will be a fun party for the entire family and a worthwhile event for the City of San Marcos.

JUMPSTART was selected to perform at this event since according to the San Marcos PARD, “the band [Jumpstart] can bridge all our communities.  They touch the Hispanic community, the young generation, the African-American community, the senior community, our professional community, our collegiate community, and our rural/farming community with their various styles of music and dance.”  It will be an event you don’t want to miss!  The best part is that it is FREE!
