JUMPSTART, the band recognized as the “high energy variety band” from Austin, TX now carries another moniker – “The Best of Weddings” Band, 2011.  The “Best of” badge was an honor awarded by the brides and vendors of The Knot.com.    And after a busy spring wedding season, the band is ready to release its third CD titled “Revved Up & Energized”. 

The CD is a good reflection of what the band performs live.  It is a mix of pop, funk, jazz, country, Latin and Motown.  Although the CD is for promotional purposes only, it provides the potential client and listener with an idea of the musical depth the band brings to each performance.  There is a quality and an associated admiration aspect you get when you realize this music is performed live, by top notch musicians playing their instruments at their best, and not relying on computer generated loops or gimmicks.  It is both pleasurable and moving to listen to.  In fact, one might say it “revves you up and energizes “you for the day!
