JUMPSTART – TOP WEDDING BAND! JUMPSTART, the high energy, variety dance band from Austin, TX was named by The Knot.com as the “Top Wedding Band in Austin and the Texas Hill Country”. This honor is a result of individual reviews and testimonials of bride’s overall satisfaction with JUMPSTART’s performance quality, music, and personal service capacity and flexibility. Here is one of the many reviews of JUMPSTART that can be found on the Knot: “My fiance and I drove out to a vineyard about 45 minutes outside of Austin to listen to JumpStart play. We were very pleasantly surprised. The band leader, Mike, is awesome - very personable, open-minded, and extremely communicative. We fell in love with the band's brass section which is what led us to book them. We would definitely say their fortes are jazz and latino music, but really they play anything well. What compelled us to book was this band's versatility - we really enjoy a wide variety of music. From cajun-style jazz, 50s/60s/70s/80s style rock, classic country, to timeless pieces by the likes of Sinatra or other favorites from the 20s - we needed a band that could meet our versatile taste and resonate with all the generations in our families. JumpStart not only provides and can perform the variety, but they're a blast - a funky group with tons of personality that we can see jiving right along with our guests. We're really excited to have them performing for our wedding in April. What's more, for an additional fee, they'll provide musicians to play during your ceremony, too.
