JUMPSTART SCORES BIG AT LONGHORN AND TCU GAME It is another significant leap for the Austin, TX based musical variety dance band, JUMPSTART. Performing before an 84,600 + packed house at DKR Memorial Stadium, JUMPSTART performed their usual, and some less than usual, musical themes. It all took place in the south end zone in the appropriately named Longhorn Foundation’ End Zone Club prior to kick-off. It was a “hot” afternoon at the End Zone, but so was the music! Even the University of Texas Cheerleaders got involved by leading the End Zone club fans on several cheers while JUMPSTART performed the school’s fight song – “Texas Fight” and wrapping up the cheering segment with the classic and traditional “Eyes of Texas”. Everyone in attendance agreed that JUMPSTART achieved another milestone in their musical quest for national recognition. As their fans stated at the conclusion of their 2 hour variety set . . . “Longhorns and JUMPSTART: it just don’t get any better than that!” Look for JUMPSTART pictures of the UT event on their website in the upcoming weeks.
