November 5th, Darrell K. Royal Memorial Stadium, Austin, TX – The Texas Longhorns take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders – and, JUMPSTART, the highly versatile dance band plays to and for the fans and the University of Texas Club’s Tailgate party! It started out as a cool, clear November morning with temperatures in the 50’s. As JUMPSTART took the stage, however, the air and the atmosphere heated up with one great dance and sing-a-long song after another. The band’s music and artist mix ranged from Chicago (Saturday In The Park) to Brooks & Dunn (Boot Scootin’ Boogie), to Frank Sinatra & Louis Prima (New York, New York & Just A Gigolo, respectively), to the Blackeyed Peas (I Got A Feeling), to so much more! Even a Cumbia and a Meringue was heard! There was a great Latin sounding rendition from a Walt Disney movie (The Jungle Book) that stirred the U.T. 40 acres!
