JUMPSTART SCORES BIG WITH THE LONGHORNS  

The University of Texas football Longhorns’ season began in early September.  Typical of all home games this season, the University of Texas Club, aka, UT Club hosts a tailgate party for all its members prior and during each game.  The tailgate is located just north of DKR Memorial Stadium (literally, across the street from the north entrance to the stadium).  JUMPSTART, a long term favorite dance and party band of the University of Texas was once again invited to perform at one of the home games in September.  From the minute the band took the stage, the crowd was gripped in amazement and excitement.  With the opening song – “What Is Hip” (Tower of Power) to songs such as “God Bless Texas” (Little Texas) to “Just The Way You Are” (Billy Joel), JUMPSTART dished out a cuisine of dance and all time favorites for everyone! 

The members of the UT Club were so enthused by JUMPSTART’s musical variety and professionalism that they insisted on having the band back for an unprecedented second time this football season.  JUMPSTART says “thank you” to all those that attended that memorable show and we look forward to seeing you in November! 

JUMPSTART will be performing two hours prior to the Oklahoma State University game.  They will be performing an array of great music – dance tunes from the 1930’s to yesterday with dance styles that range from cha-cha to salsa to rock-your-socks off.  It is a sure bet that there will be a song for everyone in the tailgate area and on the grounds of the University of Texas!  JUMPSTART is “excellence in musical entertainment”.  See you at the UT Club tailgate – November 13, 2010!
